My work represents chunks of water that have seemingly been scooped out of the ocean, pools or lakes and splashed onto the walls, in a controlled but fluid form.

I explore visceral interactions through the embodied experience of water. Water becomes both the subject and a carrier of memory. It is a measure of movement and time, engaging the body and senses, creating a space where physical sensation, emotion, and thought become fluid. My work explores the shifting relationship between body, water, perception, and the individual sensory experiences that ignite thoughts and memory.

Each piece is hand sculpted, painted and layered with pigments, creating two dimensional works of art. The work appears to have movement, and light, with reflective surface colors that change with the viewer's body movement.
